Private Burlesque Lessons
Newbies/bedroom burlesquers: learn at your own pace!
Graduates or experienced dancers: take your act to the next level!

Private lessons are $35 an hour. Schedule is very flexible.

How many hours depends on how much instruction you need. If you're creating an act from the ground up- costume, music, choreography, etc- it generally takes about 2-3 two hour sessons.

Gloves 'n' Garters
$10 pre-pay via PayPal or call by noon the day before class to check on drop-in spots (cash only for drop-ins).

Learn tips and tricks for taking off gloves and stockings. Bring a pair of stockings (NO FISHNETS), a garter belt and long gloves (I'll have extra gloves and a couple of garter belts on hand, if you don't have your own).

Fan Dancing

Learn to dance with ostrich feather fans-- various moves and forms
will be learned. Fixed open fans will be used and their construction explained. The techniques of working with traditional open-close fans will also be discussed.

Learn how to use a boa to do more than just hang around your neck! Vivienne will show you techniques to incorporate boas into your number and talk about how to use boas of different feathers and weights. Boas provided, but bring your own boa, if you have one.

Bump and burn! Using the basic moves of burlesque, Vivienne has created a workout that will tone up all the parts you tease with! Bumps, grinds, shimmies, boa work and more, plus at the end we put it all together for a full burlesque routine!

No experience needed, adaptable for all levels. Workout wear, dance skirts and bare feet, flexible showes or low flexible heels suggested.

The Aveda Institute is located at California and the 16th Street Mall. The main entrance is on the 16th Street Mall, however, you should enter from the south side of the building (California). You may want to get there a few minutes early to give yourself time to find parking and get to the right entrance.

Balance is essential in both burlesque and yoga. Lexy will lead you through a Vinyasa Yoga class (flowing yoga). This class will help you strengthen, tone, and stretch your entire body, especially strengthen your core-the place where fabulous shimmying and shaking blossoms!

Not only will you experience an amazing workout you will also gain focus and confidence in you and your natural abilities. Each class will conclude with a beautiful relaxation, that is absolutely delicious!

No yoga experience required. This yoga class is for all levels.
